The Week will introduce a series of guided tours of cemeteries throughout the summer.

 

Saturday 26th May 2007 Clifton Street Cemetery, Belfast

Tour starts at 11.00 a.m. There will be a cost of 2.50 for those wishing
to have the booklet.

Sunday 27th May 2007 Carrickbrennan Cemetery 3.00 - 5.00

There will be a guided walk explaining the origins of the place and a look at some notable headstones. The tour will start at 3.00 p.m. and will finish at 4.30 p.m. Visitors are welcome to wander around at their leisure until 5.00. For further information contact Colin Scudds 2806213 after 6.00 p.m

Wednesday 30th May2007, Ardcarne Church and Graveyard 10.00 a.m.

Ardcarne Graveyard Committee is organising a tour for 45 children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes from St Patrick's National School Drumboylan and St Michael's and St Patrick's National School, Cootehill.
